Planko is a company based in Morbi (Gujarat), India, that manufactures and exports SPC flooring (click lock and glue down tiles & planks). Their products cater to residential as well as commercial applications both within and outside India.

Being a manufacturing company who considers itself 'India's largest SPC flooring tiles manufacturer and exporter,' Planko required a website that would be able to reflect the technical expertise and export capability to its potential buyers around the world. This was achieved through an association between DevConex and Planko.

The Challenge

Whereas Planko’s initial requirement was a simple website that required regular updates for their collections and catalogues, this approach would have been counter-productive. Instead, what was chosen was to develop a professional website that is driven by its credibility, and with an easy-to-use content management system for easy updates as the brand grew beyond its borders.

What We Delivered

Our Approach

Our standard six-step delivery process was utilized with customizations as per the specificities of developing an AI fintech solution for two native platforms.

01. UI/UX Design

Created a modern and high-end design that showcases the various SPC flooring products offered by Planko.

02. Design Finalization & Planning

Finalized the design with the client's approval and advised them to opt for a dynamic website instead of a static one due to its easier management.

03. Front-End Development

Created responsive HTML pages and implemented the approved design into the website.

04. Admin Panel Development

Developed an admin panel that enables easy management of products, catalogs, product specifications, packaging information, and blogs.

05. Submission & Website Deployment

Submitted the completed website to the client for review and deployed it after receiving final approval.

06. Launch & Ongoing Support

Provided ongoing backend support and maintenance for the website after launch.

What We Delivered

The website showcases Planko’s SPC flooring product range with a professional and credible design powered by an interactive database-driven system. It also includes a dedicated admin panel for managing products, catalogs, blogs, technical information, and other content. Additionally, the website features separate sections for product features, applications, exports, and packaging information.

Outcome

The new Planko website is designed to convey the firm’s positioning as a major player in manufacturing and exporting, at the same time affording the internal staff sufficient freedom to maintain the freshness of products and specifications, as well as content, without reliance on a developer for updates. Suggesting that the dynamic build be used instead of the requested static site allowed Planko to create a system which would be able to evolve with the company.
