Perfecti guest and server dining apps
PERFECTi connects guests and servers at any restaurant — personalized service, real-time table requests, and tips that go straight to the server.

Built for Cocobolo Group, PERFECTi is a restaurant-agnostic platform with free Guest and Server iOS apps. Guests share allergies and preferences, ping their waiter when they need anything, and optionally tip servers directly — while restaurants avoid processor fees on those tips.

Our Approach

We partnered with Cocobolo Group to turn a founder’s front-of-house insight into native Guest and Server apps that work in any restaurant — without requiring POS integration.

01. Discovery

Mapped the guest and server journeys — allergies, preferences, special occasions, table pings, and direct tipping — and defined how PERFECTi stays restaurant-agnostic while still feeling personal at the table.

02. Product & UX Design

Designed dual-app flows for Guest and Server roles: clear onboarding, profile setup, real-time notifications, and a tipping path that feels discreet for guests and immediate for servers.

03. Native iOS Build

Built native Swift apps for guests and servers so pairing, alerts, and payments feel instant on the devices restaurant teams already carry.

04. Backend & Payments

Implemented real-time messaging between guests and servers, dining-profile sync, and Stripe-powered tips that deposit directly into a server’s bank account — bypassing the restaurant’s card processor when tipping is enabled.

05. QA & App Review

Tested pairing, notifications, profiles, and tip payouts across devices and edge cases before App Store submission for both Guest and Server experiences.

06. Launch & Iteration

Shipped to the App Store and continue supporting Cocobolo Group with updates as PERFECTi expands restaurant adoption and guest–server engagement.

What We Delivered

PERFECTi is a dual native iOS platform — a Guest app and a Server app — that sits between diners and waitstaff at any restaurant. Guests build a dining profile (allergies, preferences, special occasions), ping their server when they need service or the check, favorite servers for return visits, and optionally send tips that land directly in the server’s bank account.



Built Around the Table, Not the POS

Because PERFECTi is restaurant-agnostic, properties don’t need a POS install or integration to start. Operators can allow or disable tipping to match house policy. When tips flow through PERFECTi, the restaurant avoids card-processor fees on those tips — while servers get paid in real time.

Outcome

Cocobolo Group launched PERFECTi as free Guest and Server apps on the App Store, giving restaurants a practical way to raise service quality and personalization without replacing existing systems. Guests get clearer communication and optional cashless tipping; servers get actionable guest context before they reach the table; operators get happier teams and lower tip-related processing costs when tipping is enabled.
